I'm not sure if this is considered a necessary feature or not. I personally prefer the older situation where you have to deal with all three outputs straight away, but obviously that shouldn't be the default. I don't know if the existing 'change it back to the way it was' mods have any conflicts with mine so I thought I'd gauge interest in whether it's worth adding that option for people to use.

I would strongly agree, it simplifies it too much.
I also feel that heavy cracking should produce at least some gas, oil refining should produce a mess of products, it's what makes it so interesting.

Well, maybe if I was to start cribbing stuff from Angel's petrochem mod, I do find it really interesting but it would require a big commitment to a lot of new content, and that's not really what this mod's about. Vanilla balance is rather delicate, especially regarding my changes to things like fuel values on oil products, so I'm being sparing with changes like that.
