While playing, the chat is getting spammed with the message "Error in SmartTrains: SmartTrains-016/Train.lua:445:attempt to call field 'get_driver' (a nil value)". I suppose it's because there is no get_driver in the combinator_index array, maybe it should be "passenger" ?
