This is a tiny mod (and my first) to silence roboport door sounds, mainly to save friends from having to copy a custom version of entities.lua to their games before we can use multiplayer together. Works by overriding data.raw["roboport"]["roboport"].close_door_trigger_effect
and .open_door_trigger_effect
to have volumes of zero. Known to work as of 0.17.59. Thanks go to DellAquila (WeakEnemies) and leoch (TrainRebalance) for the pattern-matching material, and to Gammro in this forum thread (and someone in a Steam Community thread I can't seem to find now) for the inspiration.
5/4/20: Marking as deprecated since I noticed that the clacky airlock sound has been replaced in 0.18.21; not sure which version introduced the new sound. It is lovely and blends in nicely, though the roboport "droning" noise is a little pointed.. Maybe time for another mod?
