The recepie for lead plates (just cooking crushed rubyte for lead plates) is shown in FNEI isn't working in the game in the normal stone furnace. I think it's intended not to work, so i didn't tested other furnaces.

In FNEI's settings, I suggest you untick Show hidden recipes.

This recipe has been deliberately disabled. You need to sort for lead ore, then smelt that. This is opposite of regular Angel's where lead ore is not directly smeltable. The same applies to tin. This change was made so that mixed output sorting is initially necessary at all stages.
