b [Fixed]Blue science lab can not be researched

If you research as much tech as you can, you will still have blue science lab (sct-lab-3) unable to be researched. Kind of a game-breaking thing.

I tested out why and apparently it requires 'plastics' to be researched which was removed in the latest update to this mod.
Pretty much just have to remove that dependency in your plastics update.

Thanks for reporting this! I'll get a patch out as soon as I can!

As a workaround - from the main menu, open up mod settings. On the Startup tab, under Bob's Power mod - untick New solar panels.

Please let me know if this works for you.

Not sure, i just included the removal of plastics requirement as part of my update - preparing for a seablock run now so just picking out the mod set, adding my own seablock update, etc. Was basically doing final checks in creative (checking research tree, making sure everything is aligned and making sense, etc) when i noticed this issue.

Just ran a test - it does work as a workaround - you can research the blue science lab this way. Still, probably best to just get rid of that plastics tech dependency

I have code that is supposed to be removing it. Science Cost Tweaker is doing weird stuff that is stopping the removal from working.

Science Cost Tweaker has been updated, fixing this issue.

Yep, checked the pure seablock pack with recent sct update and it works as expected - science lab can be researched no problem.

... its things like this that show how hard it is to track down which mod is actually responsible.

And how hard it is to test! There's so many combinations of mods, mod versions, mod settings.

I would never have predicted that changing a Bob's Power mod setting would cause an issue for Sea Block because of a bug in SCT! 😆
