I think that the way aai's vehicles destroy trees(the miners) and this mod causes it to go a bit insane with a patch work of coal burned and desert patches

as shown here my miner was tasked to clear a path through a dense forest and this was the result

might be something you would want to look at maybe not sure if this would be something to do with your mod or aai but ya

Played around a bit more and seems like farl and nanobots do it too but construction robots and anything marked for deconstruction in general doesnt
