I just spend the better part of 15 minutes trying to figure out why my QL purple science in Seablock suddenly needed wires again.
I even thought i was going crazy since i couldnt find the option anymore which i know was there before.

I would not call putting

if mods["WireShortcuts"] then
overwrite_setting("bool-setting", "wire-shortcuts-is-retain-wire-crafting", true)
end

"compatibility".

I would! The aim of the Wire Shortcuts mod isn't to make science packs easier to automate. It's was unintentional side effect. That effect has now been reversed πŸ™‚

Most people who install these two mods together probably never realized that wires should have been part of the science pack recipes!
