this can happen, when mod has different settings for normal and expensive for research, i'm currently reworking how these situation are handled, so it should be fixed when it's done. there is no ETA when it's finished tho', might be days or weeks.
Mexmer, I left you a message on my mod page. The mod is now deprecated, and you are more than welcome to make your own proper version of it. My time has become very limited to do anything with the mod.
