So I gather you launch a special satellite into space (or are you suing the ones placed up there normally when you launch rockets to get 1k Space Science)?

Do you just need 1 uplink or many?

So you can see any spot in your world or just those revealed by your ground satellites?

You just need to launch enough satellites to accumulate sufficient Space Research scipacks to be able to research the technology.

Then, you only really need to build a single Uplink Station to make full use of the abilities.

You can then move your view around to any spot on the world, even scouting new unrevealed territory.
