This mod conflicts with every fast long inserter mod I've tried for some reason. As soon as I install any of those, this mod stops working and none of those recipes or the tab show up anymore.
Edit: actually it seems like it breaks from adding any other mod that adds other recipes for some reason, like landfill mod or trashcan mod

That's... interesting. Especially considering I'm playing with several mods that add recipes myself--I mean I've got like 150 mods installed, there's no shortage of custom recipes in my install. So fast long inserter mods, landfill mod, and trashcan mod all have conflicts--any others youve found?

I'm not 100% sure, I tried like 4 different fast inserter mods and they all made all the alt recipes turn off, then the landfill and the trashcan one, I think it might be just ones that add new recipes? Again, not 100% sure, I'll test it more tomorrow. My son said on his file they just stopped working for him a while ago but he left it installed, he said the recipes all still show in the codex but you just cant craft with any of them, I'm not sure what mod made his break because he has way more mods than I do. I told him I had a whole factory setup using most of the alt recipes and I wasn't going to tear it all down, that I'd rather find a solution to keep it all intact. He said that he thinks his broke when he added the colored pipes mod in, but he added the water well mod and electric weapons at the same time and wasn't really paying attention to it. I just noticed it because I was only adding a single mod and saw all my assembly machines stop all at once.

Edit: He is right that they do still show up in the codex, along with the Alt Recipe category/tab. But for whatever reason the assembling machines and the crafting tab just don't give access to it.

I'm fairy certain that this is related to something that someone else posted about today with their Recipe Tab suddenly not showing up, at least it sounds that way to me, a similar problem, if not the same thing. I have other recipe mods that add new things, it just seems like its from anything new that I add now for whatever reason.

So I tested it with a few other mods, infinite bot charge, electric weapons, warehousing, I just tried some that did or didn't add new recipes and it seems like for whatever reason once I add a new mod it disables the SARS recipes. They're still there in the Factoriopedia, I just can't access them to craft with any of them.

I'm kind of new to mods for this game so I don't have a lot of knowledge in this, but is there a way to change load orders or anything like that?

I'm busy with another mod atm but once I finish updating that much larger mod, I'll come take a look at this.

Am I understanding you right that you're saying adding any mod causes SARS to fail?

Well, I don't think it 'fails' but it makes it so those recipes are no longer learned, because they're still in the codex, so the mod still works. This is something you mentioned in one of your update posts, how you'd have to relearn them again after that update, but I started using it after that so I didn't have to go through that. I can force learn them again, but then I would have to do that every time I decide to add a new mod.
