So the player can still carry around a tremendous amount of stuff?
I played a mod called Versepelles Hard Storage back in 0.14 (combined with adjusted Warehousing), and one thing I realized was that partial stacks became a huge concern for space. I came up with a clever solution: instead of making storage units smaller, make stack sizes smaller. That way you still have lots of slots to work with but the total amount you can carry is more reasonable or limited.
