I've just uploaded Rail fix. It makes sure that all rails added by mods
- have a collision mask,
- have "object-layer" in their collision mask,
- don't have "not-colliding-with-itself" in their collision mask.
You should install this mod if you have experienced crashes due to the recent rail changes in Factorio. If you find any errors, please don't hesitate to inform me! :-)
