Hi, right now I'm missing a howto use this tanker. The screenshot looks like you have to connect a small pump to the tanker?

If that is correct, it would be not so good for me. The tanker can be researched pretty early and could be used for your oil system - but the small pump needs already lubricant, so you have to setup a complete oil production system before you can use the tanker. Maybe you could add a tanker pump to fix that?

I don't think that needs fixing, the research for the electric engine comes right after engine research which you need anyways for trains. And to get one electric pump you just need to process 10 units of crude oil and take 2 heavy oil to produce lubricant. I don't consider that a complete oil production system, sorry.

Technically you'd need two, one at outpost then for unloading. Even with RSO, I find that there's at least three oil deposits at spawn and generally there's another patch close enough that can be piped back to your base.

RSO specifically guarantees oil at spawn, vanilla does not.
