I'm assuming it adds something to the game that you must construct more of...

Joking aside, It's either a waste of materials and made just for show, or its a wireless substation. That would be my guess.

Just downloaded it and looked at the the research. It literally adds pylons but they also act as power poles with better than normal stats...
Pylon +0 Wire Reach 10, Supply Area 6x6
Pylon +1 Wire Reach 16, Supply Area 9x9, Requires Research (Automation)
Pylon +2 Wire Reach 22, Supply Area 12x12, Requires Research (Auto, Logi)
Pylon +3 Wire Reach 28, Supply Area 16x16, Requires Research (Auto, Logi)
Pylon +4 Wire Reach 36, Supply Area 24x24, Requires Research (Auto, Logi, Chem)

Building each requires the previous tier to construct and more advanced materials. Doesn't seem too OP considering Substations and such already in the game.

glad its enjoyed, i also did a deepmine mod based of another authors, its fully revamped as-well... both are doing very well i think based on over 1500 downloads/subscribers each...
