Flooring that transmits power to adjacent objects

I noticed that with these powered tiles once they're placed they cannot be picked back up except by way of a deconstruction planner and construction bots. Is this intentional ?
You should be able to pick them up the same way as other tile objects, like concrete.
Ah ok. Didn't catch that. My bad.
I did notice that when they are tiled on top of other tiles, everything gets picked up. A minor annoyance and easily remedied.
