What i saw in the research tab is, that the scince icon is to big so only a quarter of it is displayed.
Very bad that the gauge don't move if the meter is placed :)

Should be fixed in 0.0.2. Variable visual feedback is the next phase if interest dictates.
I'd certainly like the actual dial on the in-world sprite to animate to display quantity, if that's what you mean!
