Hey, so I've found that the mod also changes the recipe for AAI containers, wich is not really something I like, since it messed with my mall setup, so a toggle for that would be very nice, but I can live with it, just maybe declare that somewhere clearly so people won't be surprised.
But a thing that is very upsetting, is the way the mod handles Artillery Shells. I've built a huge Artillery production, storing almost 100k Shells across Nauvis and Vulcanus, and they got forcefully downgraded into your medium Shells, wich isn't even the biggest bummer since that change was also applied to all logistic groups, but my production lines are not set up for that. Your Heavy Artillery is the vanilla Artillery, why doesn't everything chnage into that? Wich again, isn't the worst part, I'm side tracking, why did the conversion cause my Assemblers to generate Steelplates out of thin Air, contaminating all the logistics involved. Dealing with that was really upsetting.

And in case there are more recipes altered please make a list for that.

Like, I love the Mod, but the anxiety this gives me rn is... oof.

Wow, that's a lot but very thank you for your feedback.
1. About the AAI containers, there is an option to disable that. For the next version, I will disable it by default to avoid similar issues.
2. About the artillery shells, it seems the main issue here is the migration von non-mod to with-mod. I will look into what I can do about that. I could decouple the setting for the artillery shells from the other explosive ammo in the ammo mod, so you could not have the artillery change but still be able to cast the other explosive ammo.
3. I'm not sure why steel plates appear there. Are the steel plates really produced or are they just leftover from the migration? This should be the only vanilla recipe I really modified, all other are additional recipes.

All in all, this mod is my personal modpack for the other mods I've made. So if you like only specific parts of that, you might want to switch some on or off. Or you give me even more feedback, that's fine too.

  1. Im fine with the AAI containers, I actually prefer recipe 'scalings', it just caught me off guard and when i browse through the settings I've developed a habit of overlooking anything that starts with ''unknown'', my bad on that end.
  2. I'm not entirely sure what you're saying here, but yeah, there seems to be some funny mod migration behaviour. Solution wise I don't see the point in rebranding the vanilla shells, I get that you maybe like to enforce design integrity with everything tungsten related beeing purple, but I can imagine that it would be hard to avoid the bug, and holding on to the rebrand. Like, just add the recipe for the medium shells, and only change the icon for the big shells.
    I'm sorry if im pointing out painfully obvious stuff.
  3. The steelplates just magically appeared in the Assemblers, probably because the system was like, ''Oh yeah, we make shells here, always have been, with this recipe, so naturally he also had all the ingredients here, naturally, it's the last status I've heard off''.

All in all I'm happy about your modpack, I just get sentimental thinking about all the big shells I've lost.
