The option for the reactor to do nuclear fission doesnt appear in my game, so I only get hot water from them.
Is there any additional mod that I need to install? I already have the one with the pumps, but I seem to be missing something.

I am getting fission with just the Nucular mod. You may be missing something. Are you sending water and nuclear fuel to the reactor? The reactor then outputs fission to the mod's steam turbine which returns a nice 5.1MW.
