Just as I was looking for a island in fulgora, made a kick check to nauvis, and found a bug: the water ripples were happening exactly at the player position, but in nauvis, not even the oil sea of fulgora.

Checking the code, found out that the mod uses the player surface property, which can actually change when using the remote view, making so the ripples actually appear once I use remote view on to nauvis.

Also checked the Factorio's modding API, found that "physical_surface" and "physical_position" are the ones used for the current player character, which stays in the same surface even when remote view is used. Also found "physical_vehicle", which actually don't know how could be implemented.
