This mod increases the damage of basic shotgun pellets from 5 to 8, and piercing shotgun pellets from 8 to 16.
This puts the basic shotgun on par with the SMG firing Piercing Ammo and makes the Combat Shotgun firing Piercing Shells comparable to Uranium Ammo being shot out of a vehicle Machine Gun.
The movement penalty for both Shotguns is reduced to 40% (compare: the movement penalty for the Flamethrower is 30%, normal Shotgun 60%, Combat Shotgun 50%), this is especially useful for the basic Shotgun which is now a much better weapon for kiting and dodging spitballs.
Finally the range of Piercing Shells is increased from 15 to 16, this is so they have the same range as the Behemoth Spitter, it also means they outrange the Personal Laser Defense.
