is there a chance to give the bulk inserter the ability to stack items on belts?

If you mean by which the stack from the bulk inserter for example 10 iron plates would go onto the belt as 10 iron plates as a stack and not in a row then no, as I think that would require a full rework for how belts take items in and how inserters take them out. It could also provide some performance and drive storage issues as each item on a belt would have a new integer value for stack size.

well I was thinking since this is a vanilla feature within the Space Age update i assumed it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

the vanilla "stack inserter" is doing exactly this but at low speed - thats why I was asking for a MOAR version :)

Sorry I didn't know it was in the new update, if it's in the DLC then I still can't as I don't own it.
