Are you looking to replace your nuclear setup with solar, but don't want the footprint of vanilla. Then this is a viable alternative.
To make sure I understand correctly, is the following approximately true:
Vanilla solar panel/accumulator = 42KW avg per day cycle
MK1 = x8 = 336KW avg
MK2 = x8 = 2.7MW avg
MK3 = x8 = 21.5MW avg
MK4 = x8 = 172.032MW avg
MK5 = x8 = 1.4GW avg (same as about three 4-reactor nuclear plants)
MK6 = x8 = 11GW avg
MK7 = x8 = 88GW avg
MK8 = x8 = 704GW avg
These solarpanels and accumulators behave like a bunch of the vanilla ones together. In other words, they cause zero hit/degradation on UPS (unlike nuclear which eventually causes a problem).
The size of these solarpanels is roughly the same as that of vanilla solar panels. The whole point of the mod being to save on footprint instead of flooring huge sections of land.
If the above is correct then your mod could easily power a huge megabase while using far less than one chunk of space. Just what I have been looking for. I hope your answer is yes to all of that :)
