Lumify
Turn your lamps into a light show, no combinators required.
Getting started: press Ctrl + Shift + L (or the lamp button on the shortcut bar), create a group, pick a pattern, then click Select lamps and drag over your lamps. Alt-drag removes them. Click the pencil next to a group's name to rename it.
Patterns: Rainbow, Wave, Twinkle, Breathe, Rainfall, Ripple, Spiral, Checkerboard, Fireworks, Game of Life, Fire, Aurora, Ocean, Code rain, Chase, Heartbeat, Sparkle, and Strobe.
Each group gets its own:
- Pattern and speed
- Wave direction
- Rainbow or custom colors (up to 3)
- On/off switch
Works on lines, grids, and any shape. Lamp spacing and gaps don't matter. Lamps in a show stay lit day and night, and go back to normal when removed, including with undo.
Lamps that get their color from circuit signals are skipped. A map setting limits how many lamps update per tick, so huge shows don't lag.
Removing the mod: delete your groups in the Lumify window first. Mods can't run code when they're uninstalled, so lamps still in a show would stay on their last color.
Warning: the Strobe pattern flashes quickly and may affect photosensitive players.
Multiplayer friendly. Groups are shared by everyone on the map.
