I'm not sure how serious this is intended to be, but the default drops are pretty absurd.

I'd recommend something like:
- small => (common wood, stone, rare iron ore)
- medium => (iron ore, copper ores, rare coal)
- large => (multiple ore drops per biter)
- behemoth => (multiple ore drops, including uranium)

If the ore drops are adjusted, and maybe only have flame damage for the larger biters, then you could expand this into a seablock style mod, where instead of pulling unlimited ore from the water, you set up spawner farms to collect your ore.

You're right, it's a bit op xd I wanted to encourage people to farm biters to get good loot instead of ignoring them because the loot is lame but I went too far. Also, the seablock idea is pretty cool. But I don't think I can do anything with that right now lol, even if i really want to. I'm not that good yet at modding
