It seems you need lamps to craft the transport science packs, however you need the red science to research how to make lamps. I don't see how I can progress without getting to craft lamps for the science packs, or am I missing something?
Edit: It seems it was my misunderstanding. The images of the science pack in the research tab and in the crafting screen don't seem to match. After inspecting the names it seems the yellow science pack image corresponds with the red science pack
