Zooming Reinvented

This mod allows to heavily customise the zooming behaviour, in particular it allows to: - change how far you can zoom out (and still see the world) - change how aggressive the zooming is (equivalent to changing mouse wheel sensitivity) - change at what position and zoom level the map opens - zoom in or out instantly with a single key stroke See homepage/mod portal/readme for a full explanation of how this mod works. Please report any bugs and usability issues you find to help make this mod better - your feedback is much appreciated. Based on Zooming Reinvented by Jarcionek

g v2 compatibility

Hi,

I didn't realize how dependent I was on this mod until it stopped working with the new Factorio v2 (non space-age.) I already edited the info.json to allow loading with the new version, but it throws an error on loading (forgot to take a screenshot, sorry.)

Could someone please adjust this mod for Factorio v2?

Regards

I already have fixed ZoomRunning, it does the same (and somethiong more)

BTW editing the info.json does not work for most mods, because there are fundamental changes in the API and then also a lot of them.

I switched to ZoomRunning and was able to change "Zoom Sensitivity" and "Default map zoom level" to my favourite values. This is already a great help, thanks a million!

But no matter what I enter as "Max world zoom out level", my actual zoom-out limit stays the same. It does not change at all, even when I enter extremly low values like "0.001".

Is there something I'm missing?

yes, you have overlooked my post ;-)

Factorio 2.0 has limited some features

Zoomlevel (game view): 3 - 0.3 (mod default values was: 10 - 0.1, which is no longer possible)
Zoomlevel (chart view): 3 - 0.032 (API limit!) ~0.003 (manual limit)

Apologies. My bad.

In that case: All good, works "as designed". :-)

And thank you very much for the mod - it's really indispensable for me!
