This mod will linearly increase the cost of each technology from 1 to whatever multiplier you set as you learn more and more technologies. The overall goal of the mod is to slowly force you to scale to a megabase during the entire length of the game instead of at the endgame. The default multiplier is set to 10. However, I usually play with 100.
This mod is slightly different than Carnival's mod in the following ways:
- The lowest possible tech multiplier is constrained at 1.
- The highest possible modifier is x and not x+1.
- Every time you finish a research, a detailed message explaining your current progress and multiplier is printed for you.
