Tested on Factorio 0.18.18. Started new game of New Hope Level 2, some recipes havent been unlocked from the already researched technologies, e.g. long handed inserter, basic assembly machine, walls, machine gun,shotgun.

Hello,
Thanks for the report. There was a problem between technologies from map and technologies from script.
I have reset the technology tree of the map in patch 1.0.7 and all the recipes are working correctly now.
You may need to restart the level 2 from the beginning.

Restarting it isn't a problem.
