This is a small mod that will periodically search for items on the ground (not on belts) that are near lots of other similar items, and compress them into few items with the count set to the number of items.

For example, if it finds 50 alien artifacts near each other, it will compress them into 1 alien artifact worth 50 when picked up. This should reduce FPS lag and help to clean up mistakes with the warehouse mod for example. By default, it runs every 5 mins, and compresses all found.
