The planet mod Igrys has a required dependency:

Which doesn't quite work with this mod since the 45 degree options are omitted. (though changing drop lanes seems to work as intended)

I believe the best solution is to add the 45 degrees but hide it from the normal inserters (unless enabled in settings)

I have added an experimental setting to enable the 45 degree options in the GUI as of Version 1.1.2.

I know this isn't exactly the solution you had in mind, however i don't want to add compatibility
or specific behaviour related to other inserter mods, which i have to keep track of.

Either solution is fine by me.
