Were you able to reproduce the error at all? I admittedly forgot some error checking which I will add in the next update to prevent this but would love to know if this was consistent or tied to any event.

No, I've cut down on my use of the car. The only thing I can tell you is that I was sitting for an extended period of time in the car while working remotely on other planets and in orbit.
