The research is limited to the logistic sience pack. So it seems to me impossible to rebuilt the factory. It`s a pity the map and the task are very interesting, but I guess it is not working!
I tweaked some things and can no longer see the issue you reported. Expect a major mod update soon.
Please try the latest version. If you still have the same issue, please let me know with more details so I can troubleshoot further.
