b LuaForce doesn't containt key reset_technology

Hi,

I've ran into a problem with your mod. Can't start my savegame, as it crashes with the following error:

LuaForce doesn't contain key reset_technology.
stack traceback:
...facturing__/migrations/Hiladdar_Manufacturing_0.16.1.lua:4: in main chunk
stack traceback:
[C]: in function 'index'
...facturing
/migrations/Hiladdar_Manufacturing_0.16.1.lua:4: in main chunk

I've checked the /migrations/ folder and both files in there.

I assume this is to reset technology for saved games? How can I go around this? I don't want to start a new world yet to play with your mod.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the long delay, I was out of town for a few days.

I think I may have figured out what the issue and rather then blindly trying to post a fix that may or may not address the bug you are experiencing, can you provide some more information such as the steps you took so that I can replicate the bug. Also from what version to what version of Factorio were you trying to upgrade, from what to what version of Manufacturing you were trying to upgrade, as well as a copy of the savegame, so that I can test the fix.

Regardless of what, I plan to roll out what I think may be the cause of the bug you are experiencing. I just what to make sure I am addressing your bug.

I saw the same issue, updating Factorio from 0.17.4x (I believe 43) to 0.17.53. Added this mod (v0.17.4), didn't have it before, with other mods during that upgrade. I'll see if I can attach a save.

Thanks c4rb0ndr.

I did not receive any sample files where that problem was replicated. What I did was implement what I think may of been causing the issue, as well as address several warning issues as a result of a change to have pollution emissions are stored and handled past version 0.17.4x or so.

Please let me know if this fixes the problem or not. Also if this does not fix the problem please upload a sample file that crashes on either github or on the Factorio forums and provide a link here.

I was finally able to replicate the issue, identify the cause and fix it with.
