  1. Rubyte gives rubies and saphirite gives sapphires if the "gems from other ores" option is also on.
  2. Molten solder in a regular casting machine makes solder plates instead of solder.

As to 1), I don't really like the idea: there are already recipes for getting gems from crystal dust/crystal slurry, and having to deal with those side products during sorting with no real sink for them seems really irritating to deal with. Maybe there's something I'm not understanding about the "gems from other ores" option that makes this intended from Bob's end?

As to 2), I really like that you don't have to deal with resin anymore when you upgrade to Angel's casting, and I'm not sure how I feel about pushing that benefit back to strand casting. I am willing to hear your reasoning on this, but my first impression is no.

First, both of these would be optional, just like everything else this mod adds, so you don't have to use them.
Second, the main reason I want these, and my suggestion earlier today about strand casting iron rods, is about consistency. I don't want different materials to work differently for no reason. Right now the main inconsistencies that I have found in angelbob games are:
Iron, copper and solder work differently–Iron can't be casted into filaments at all, copper can be casted into filaments but must be turned into coils first, and solder can be turned directly into filaments.
Coal works differently from other minerals–coal ore also has a chance to give diamonds, but no other mineral has byproducts.
For #1: if you want, you can remove resin from solder when this tweak is active.

I did not know that coal could give diamonds, mostly because I hadn't played around with that option before. I will think on this a bit more, and let you know what I do with this. Thank you for the suggestions.

Related to #2, can you add the option to remove bob's solder recipe? It's the only alloy that can be made in a metal mixing furnace as is.
