g Thanks for the mod

Cool mod, I was hoping I could do multi color lighting but even without it this adds a lot of much needed ambiance to nighttime without needing to manually place a bunch of lights that might not fit in well with my spaghetti factory.

Hi! Glad you like it! Thank you for commenting!

I am currently rewriting its code completely, unfortunately it's too soon to think about such feature requests (but I think you will enjoy the upcoming version. please let me know if you don't like the changes in it!).

I have a lot to do still, but I can definitely keep future features in mind as I'm refactoring the code.

But what do you mean by "multi-color"? Do you mean like lighting different sections of your factories with different colors, or configuring each color light of a building individually?

By multi-color I thought it would be nice if I could say, color the top-left and bottom-right corners as orange, and the top-right and bottom-left corners as yellow to replicate something like hazard lights. Being able to set the buildings types individually would be nice as well, but there are so many different entities that are lighted that I don't know if I would spend the time configuring all of them. I don't want to pile on ideas if you said you aren't thinking of feature requests, but while I'm here, other interesting toggles could be lights that pulse or lights that cycle.

Hey man, sorry for leaving you hanging without a reply. It's been a while, so I'm not sure if you're still playing the game or not.

But I did eventually get around to getting one of your requests implemented, for the "Oriented light cones".
At first I didn't know how to respond because oriented light cones seemed maybe difficult, as I'm bad at actual math and geometry.
But, I did do it, and I think they turned out very well. Also there is a new Per-Planet Settings GUI configuration, so each planet can have different colored lighting.

Anyway, regardless, thanks for the suggestion, it kept me busy thinking about how to do it. And eventually I got around to it.

As for your "dual-directional, multi-colored" light, I don't really think so.
Light blending will be a huge pain when the lights will intersect, and an eye strain, and that would double the resource drain at least.

Cheers, and thanks for the idea. It kept me busy from being bored on the weekends.
