2nd issue, after deactivating your mod

Hey, the orange is a good question, I think it relates to being in a pressed state but I will investigate. What mod is that?

The second issue is a known one, it is in the description near the top. This was an issue with the original one as well. I might provide an uninstallation system in the future if I have more time.

Sorry by the way for the late response!

I think it relates to being in a pressed state

this should not be a toggle button (on/off), as I use it to switch through the different views

What mod is that?

After excessive testing, I can't seem to reproduce it. It turns orange when I click it once, to show stats, then again for settings, and finally when I click it a third time it is back to gray. I have tried a few things to reproduce it. Maybe it's a combination of mods? What other mods are/were you using?

yes, in my test installation it also looks just as you describe, if no cannons are installed yet.
but as soon as i install some, an error occurs because the complete expected content of the button is missing

this should look like this (without unifyer)
https://prnt.sc/1Kns4ZoBrA_O

if i use the unifyr AFTER ionen cannons have been installed
https://prnt.sc/77mfL5IHPUQj
no error occurs but the orange color is permanent again

the easiest thing will be to leave the button unchanged. changing other people's UI is always tricky.
you could try change only styles and leave the UI structure as it is.

Can you send me your save file if possible, so that I can take a look?

I'm not explicitly changing the states of the button, so it's weird that it happens.

Wait sorry I think I managed to replicate the issue, it only happens when games are loaded. I will supply a fix in a bit as part of 2.0.9, it should work there I hope

Edit: Yes I managed to fix it, it's a bit of a crude system where it does a check every second, I managed to replicate it with another mod, and it seems to happen sporadically but now it should work. I've pushed it as part of 2.0.9. It may happen that the button stays pressed momentarily, but it shouldn't last longer than a second. I could make it update faster but I don't want to cause unnecessary lag in late game megabases, so for now it checks only every second.

It's still happening with the latest version and the button state doesn't update itself within a second? Can you send your save file?

Can you send your save file?

Are these two above not enough?

Sorry my bad, you're right I didn't properly check if they were images or files and assumed the former, sorry. Thanks so much for the save games. Thanks to them I managed to reproduce and fix it. Can you check 2.1.0?

The mod is now located on the original page at https://mods.factorio.com/mod/GUI_Unifyer again, you can safely move over from the Unified fork. I will keep it up to date there. I'm assuming the issue was fixed, but if it's not you can open a new issue there.
