I feel like requiring an entire portable fusion reactor PER BOT is a little too expensive, maybe 1 per 10 or 1 per 50 because portable fusion reactors are not cheap. I also noticed that they have a rocket stack size of 1 so it would be very annoying to transport them. I feel like reducing the cost or adding an option to reduce the cost would make this mod significantly better.
The expensive recipe is a deliberate design choice, just due to how obscenely powerful having a robot that can go forever is, it's a robot that works for free, which on it's own isn't a whole lot, but when you have an entire logistics network full of these things it makes pretty much anything else worthless.
I know, but you've already basically beaten the game, so you must have some understanding of how logistics works, and having a rocket capacity of 1 is just cruel. The balance argument is valid though, which is why I suggested it be a setting, so you can choose how hard it should be to mass produce.
Also in mods like Krastorio2 Spaced Out the portable fusion reactor is more expensive, so in my current run those bots are near worthless unless I dedicate a megabase to a few bots per minute.
That's fair, I'll see about adding an option to make them cheaper. I'll also look into changing the rocket capacity as that is just the default amount from it using a whole fusion reactor, though to go along with that I'll probably make it unable to be recycled to prevent exploitation.
And done, new version with settings to make the recipe cheaper has been uploaded, I honestly forgot that K2SO added tritium to the fusion cell's ingredients and needing effectively 10 of those per robot is kinda unreasonable. Also with the new settings you should be able to transport up to 25 robots per rocket launch, when it's set to extra cheap, or 10 with just cheap.
