Hello again :)

Unfortunately the random normal quality plates still appear from the fluid recipes with higher quality ore input.
I've put up a little test for all the recipes and as far as my 30 mins of runtime shows, only the copper and tungsten recipe work without corruption.

The others produce normal quality items, but also not in a regular interval, it's behaving a bit like a windup error, maybe it's an error based on the momentum mechanic, where it wants to produce the extra but since there is not a sufficent momentum level it does funny stuff trying to fill a void that isn't supposed to be there? But yeah, hope that info helps .

Thanks for the detailed feedback and for the stress test. Your theory about the momentum/windup error is a good lead. It's strange that only copper and tungsten are stable, so I'll compare their definitions with the others.
I'm going to look into this today or tomorrow. If I can find the cause (which I think I can), I'll deploy a fix by tomorrow evening.

Ah, I see what happened! Last time, I only applied the quality fix to the specific recipes we discussed (copper/tungsten). I didn't realize the other ones were also affected by the same issue. My bad!

Update is up!
- I've applied the quality fix to all recipes this time, not just copper and tungsten. Let me know if everything works fine now on your side.

Btw I love the sound of the Fundryu, it's like an industrial calm ocean, hah.

update:
It's been several hours now and some cut/pasting without false outputs. It's fixed :)

Well well well, I went into the other recipes too, and they are corrupted, on a more constant level not just in the windup.

At this point I'm sorry I use ur mod so much (っ´ω`c)

Hum this is so annoying. Just to be 100% sure, is the copper recipe still working perfectly for you, or is it also starting to bug out now?

Not sure if i understand ur question correctly, I'm talking about the mastered x recipes.
the liquid recipes work well.

But it's also kinda random to reproduce. Like I've built a test setup again with just input -> Fundryu -> output and it runs without error, but when I stamp my blueprint it sometimes is corrupted and sometimes not.
Ive also tested if the modules and beacons matter or what loading unit, like diffrent quality modules, full prod, full speed, no beacon, full beacon, quantum emitter, inserters, loaders. How it works in the sandbox or on nauvis.

I don't see any pattern here, it just sometimes wants to give me normal quality when i go with the mastered recipes as of right now.

I've just uploaded v3.1.0:

  • I changed the logic so the foundry now waits to be 100% sure of the quality before giving the bonus items.
  • It’s also better optimized for large factories (UPS).
