b Pointless Tech? [Changed]

I was looking at how to unlock the Fundryu and I see its locked behind 2 techs. But the first tech, "Advanced Fundryu Foundry" tech says it unlocks it, when all it does is let you research the next tech to actually unlock the Advanced Fundryu Foundry.

Is this intentional?

Good question. I will keep this technology because I might use it later to unlock other items if I have time. However, it's true that the description is confusing, so I will update it to make it clearer.
