The reason I haven't been uploading mods lately is that I have been working on this nightmare. This mod comes with four toggleable modules in the config.lua file. All are enabled by default. If anyone would like to help with the development of this mod, I could use help in texturing the Worldbreaker, and the Alorium ore / sheet. Also, a recipe lua file making all of Bob's and/or Angels' items triple as expensive would be great for me to add to this mod. This mod will work with all old worlds, as long as the module "Alorium" is disabled. Adds it's own inventory tab, a configuration option for that will be added in the future.
Latest Update:
Adds a harder recipe for the express belt class, and the stack, filter, and stack-filter inserters. Suggested by arides.
Module One: Alorium
Alorium is an ore that this mod comes with. On a normal world, this and coal will be the only ores available. Five of this ore can be refined into three stone, one copper, and one iron ore. These all can be entered into a furnace and smelted normally. If Alorium seems a little hard to you, you can easily disable it by changing "alorium = true," to "alorium = false," in the config.lua.
Module Two: Plate Hard Mode
Plate Hard Mode triples the cost of all plates in ore values. So now, it takes six iron to make one plate. This is the hardest module of them all, and most choose to disable it in the config.lua.
Module Three: Structure Hard Mode
Structure Hard Mode triples the cost of everything other than plates in the game. This is especially difficult early game when you have all three modules enabled. It will take you ages to get autosmelting / mining iron, resorting you to using burner processing for a while.
Module Four: Ancient Worldbreaker
Ancient Worldbreaker adds an extremely expensive pickaxe that mines pretty fast and has a huge durability. This is especially useful in the early game. How do you get it in the early game? The same way you got that burner mining drill and that stone furnace. It was laying around in your shipwreck? If all of the above three modules are enabled I would recommend this one as well as a mod called "Time Tools." You'll need it.
