Love the Mod, I've been using it with the full stack enabled. When using SE, it seems to fire randomly, and includes things like ores, wood, and stone pipes. In fact, after an hour of play time, it was overflowing my inventory, even while not researching anything. For SE, I had to turn it off.
Can confirm that the "free samples" start happening more than once after a short while. I have Space Exploration installed as well.
As of now, I'm earning at least twice the number of samples, and I'm just researching Logistics Robots (I have it with chemical science - yes, I'm a cheater...).
Of note, only some things are increased; I got the correct number of chests but double or triple the number of bots.
