You asked me to create this post regarding my issues w/ the solar panels. From what I can tell I can't select "Original Panel" --> "Flat Panel." Which is what I want to do, I want to replace all my unmodded blue panels with the blue flat panels. However, when using the upgrade planner it does not allow me to select the unmodded blue panel, only the new flat one, which of course then only allows me to upgrade to the more advanced ones from the mod.
Here is what I see when attempting to use the upgrade planner:

Am I just missing something?
