While AAI Industry is installed, the offshore pump is moved to a research along with pipes (Basic Fluid Handling). While installed together with this mod, both your desalination research and AAI Industry's basic fluid handling unlock the offshore pump, which is useless to the player so early on.
I would recommend replacing the offshore pump unlock in basic fluid handling with the burner pump, to fit both mods themes better.
