Try using the chest connections and loaders. It allows a much faster and more UPS efficient throughput, you could move an entire chest full outside of the factorissimo in an instant. Get the research, put chests in the ports, and hook up your conveyors to loaders. The chests connections have options like the pipes; input, output, and balance. They also follow the inventory limitations if you don't want a ton of items in those chests.
