Greetings recursives!
There are things about the bulk transfer pipes that I'm not clear on even after having read the FAQ and after having played around with them quite a bit. I have never seen a picture or video of anyone using them (still looking) but my questions are:
Are we supposed to use only one section of pipe at a time? Or do we make long pipes of one type (input or output) to connect things within and outside the factories?
Also: what are we supposed to do for connecting one factory to another factory? I've been using bulk input pipes inside of one factory to grab steam, setting the 'arrow' to transfer OUT the steam to the outside of the port. Then, using a bulk output pipe in between the two factories, and another set of bulk output pipes in the receiving factory (with the port's setting set to transfer into that factory). It seems to be working just fine, but I don't really know if this is the appropriate approach.
Any pics or specific advice is welcome!
