Just a thought but having the option to hide just recursion 2 tech might be worth considering? For me I don't mind the idea of being able to go '3 deep' I.E. Medium factories inside large and small inside those but having the same size factories inside each other doesn't feel right (to me anyway). It's obviously just a minor thing and I just won't research that tech to fix it but thought i'd suggest it as an option.

Just thought I'd update and note that the game essentially seems to have this functionality already - if you research Recursion 1 then disable recursion tech, recursion still appears to work but it hides the Recursion 2 from the research menu (whilst still correctly listing recursion 1 as being researched). This is exactly what I was after so please consider this suggestion resolved. Excellent! :)
