I'm trying to look at the tech tree via NEI and it keeps giving me an "enable admin option and check field "show tech tree". Could you please walk me how to do this in a singleplayer game?
In a single game you are the admin. Therefore, open the mod settings (the gear in the upper right part of the gui), and then tick the box as written in the information message.
