Yeah, I wanted to offset the smoke so it would appear to come from the player's body, but I couldn't quickly figure it out, so I gave up, the smoke effect is not that important in my opinion. In the latest version of the mod the smoke should appear to come from right under the player's feet, I think it's okay if you don't look too closely.
