On paper, it should be, but by the way it's structured, I suppose it's probably not.

@RedSnowFox: Convention would be to simply make the change you currently have in recipe.lua in a data-updates.lua rather than using data.lua and the hassle of the prototypes folder and all.
That should make it more compatible with other mods that edit the prototype, as a bonus.

Would be cool if it also worked with AAI which has two recipe-routes for green circuits: (1) using wood instead of metal, (2) using stone tablet instead of metal.
