The following is the error message I get when launching a rocket. I am using darkstar 17.11 and factorio 17.22 -- I have tried different versions of factorio with this to the same effect:

The mod Darkstar Utilities Low Spec(Unofficial 0.17 Port) caused a non-recoverable error.

I went through the code and eliminated all of the calls to the function that doesn't seem to exist and so far so good.
